Managing Director — Fire Division

We have partnered with a key client of ours who are now looking for a Managing Director to take full ownership of their Fire Solutions division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a growing business who are well networked in the construction community.

You will lead the department commercially and operationally — driving new contract wins, building the right team, managing delivery, and scaling the business with a clear target of doubling revenue and headcount within three years.

You will report directly to the Group Director and have genuine autonomy to run the division as your own business within the group structure.

What You Will Do

  • Own the P&L — revenue, margins, costs, and financial performance.
  • Lead business development — win framework contracts with housing associations, FM providers, local authorities, and NHS estates.
  • Build the delivery team — recruit, develop, and retain the engineers and managers needed to scale.
  • Drive compliance — maintain and strengthen BAFE and IFC accreditations as the business grows.
  • Identify and develop new service lines — including passive fire remediation (post-Grenfell market) and maintenance contracts.
  • Report to the Group Director and contribute to group-wide strategic decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
