A new opportunity for a dedicated Leader to serve as a hands-on player/coach for International Client Accounting Delivery, combining direct involvement in complex client accounting matters, process execution, and issue resolution with coaching, development, and oversight of Client Accounting teams.
The role partners closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely monthly reporting and accounting services while strengthening continuity, operational excellence, governance, and high-quality client service.
Essential Job Duties
- Engaging in complex client accounting delivery matters while coaching, guiding, and mentoring team members through day-to-day execution.
- Provide hands-on support for issue resolution, process improvement, client escalations, and monthly reporting activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and service quality.
- Lead, sponsor, and directly contribute to department-level projects and strategic initiatives, balancing execution responsibilities with team leadership.
- Partner with team members to set clear goals, remove obstacles, reinforce accountability, and drive strong performance in financial reporting, customer service, and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and reinforce adherence to governance and compliance requirements through active review, coaching, and practical support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, clients, and internal and external stakeholders through clear communication, operational follow-through, and trusted subject matter expertise.
- Implement, review, and refine departmental policies and procedures while helping teams adopt consistent practices that improve efficiency, quality, and service delivery.
- Ensure business continuity protocols are established, maintained, and understood by team members to safeguard information, operations, and critical business processes.
- Develop direct reports through goal setting, mid-year and year-end performance reviews, real-time coaching, and timely, meaningful feedback while modeling high standards for quality and performance.
- Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead, assign, delegate, and participate in work performed by Controllers, Senior Client Accounting Managers, Client Accounting Managers, Assistant Client Accounting Managers, Senior Client Accountants, Client Accountants, Client Accounting Coordinators, Administrators, and/or Interns.
- Coach team members through prioritization, problem solving, quality review, and execution of client accounting deliverables.
- Coordinate project team efforts and contribute directly where needed to complete work within established deadlines.
- Provide practical solutions to routine and complex operational issues while building team capability to resolve issues independently.
- Direct reports may include Directors, Senior Client Accounting Managers, Client Accounting Managers, Assistant Client Accounting Managers, Senior Client Accountants, Client Accountants, and/or Administrators.
Education/Experience/Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Work Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five or more years of management experience preferred.
- Specialized knowledge and skills include strong knowledge of Yardi and/or MRI software preferred; advanced Microsoft Office proficiency; ability to interpret company financial information; hands-on operational leadership with a strong coaching and process improvement focus; strong analytical ability, sound technical skills, and solid judgment; strong oral and written communication and presentation skills; excellent relationship-building skills; and the ability to lead teams while also contributing directly to execution and issue resolution.
