Commercial Insurance

North & Scotland
(Can be home-based with Regional Travel)

Six-Figure Base + Up to 30% Bonus + Long-Term Incentives

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced commercial insurance leader to join a business that's investing heavily in its future, where you'll have genuine influence over regional strategy, the autonomy to lead in your own style and the opportunity to develop some of the industry's most successful new business professionals.

Working across the North and Scotland, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping commercial growth by supporting, coaching and developing Account Executives to maximise new business performance.

While this isn't a personal production role, your credibility will come from having successfully built and won commercial insurance business yourself. It's that experience that will enable you to inspire confidence, challenge thinking and help others achieve exceptional results.

The Role

Working closely with Regional Partners and senior leadership, you'll lead the new business strategy across the North and Scotland, travelling to regional offices as required.

Your focus will be to:

  • Support and develop Account Executives to maximise new business performance.
  • Coach teams on sales strategy, prospecting, relationship development and complex opportunities.
  • Share practical experience and commercial insight gained through your own successful career in commercial insurance.
  • Identify regional growth opportunities and help shape business development strategy.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability and sustainable growth.
  • Work alongside executive leadership to influence the wider commercial direction of the business.

About You

This opportunity is specifically suited to experienced leaders from the commercial insurance broking sector.

You'll have previously built your own successful career winning commercial insurance clients before progressing into leadership and will understand what it takes to develop profitable, long-term client relationships.

  • Extensive experience within the UK commercial insurance broking market.
  • A proven history of personally winning significant commercial insurance clients before progressing into leadership.
  • Experience coaching and developing Development Executives or new business teams.
  • Strong market credibility and an established network within commercial insurance.
  • The gravitas to influence experienced professionals through practical knowledge and lived experience.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for developing people and driving regional growth.
