This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Managing Director / General Manager / Operations Leader to take genuine ownership of a small, established business at an important turning point.
The business has a strong foundation and a key long-standing customer. What it now needs is leadership, structure, clarity, and stability — someone who can understand how the business really operates, make the right decisions, and create a stronger platform for the future.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the P&L and overall business performance
- Understanding the operation, people, customers, and finances
- Bringing greater structure, accountability, and clarity
- Identifying what needs to change, simplify, or improve
- Leading a thoughtful re-structure and re-set where required
- Strengthening processes, systems, and ways of working
- Making clear, timely decisions in the best interests of the business
- Protecting and strengthening the relationship with the key customer
- Building a stable platform from which the business can grow

Experience Required
- Senior leadership experience as an MD, GM, COO, or similar
- Proven P&L ownership
- Strong operational and commercial judgement
- Experience of re-structuring, transformation, or organizational change
- The confidence to make difficult decisions when they are right for the business
- A practical, hands-on approach to leadership
