Managing Director - Manufacturing

Our client is a well-established, family-owned manufacturing group with a number of divisions producing a diverse portfolio of high-quality building products distributed globally. Its key Warwickshire based operation is the UK market leader within its specialist product categories, serving both industrial and commercial construction markets from a modern, purpose-built facility.

Following a period of investment and progression, the division is now well placed to exploit an increasingly positive market outlook. To lead this next stage, the business is seeking an exceptional Managing Director who can combine operational/manufacturing experience with commercial flair for the journey ahead.

The Role

Reporting into the Group Board, the role will take full ownership of strategy and P&L, providing hands-on leadership across all areas of the business. You'll take ownership of a continuous manufacturing process, drive a culture of continuous improvement, and lead an experienced senior team through their next stage of expansion — including new product and market development, both in the UK and Europe.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
