Our client, based in the East Midlands, is a UK subsidiary of an international group that operates in 15 countries. The company provides both services and products into the major high street retailers across the globe. The UK business has a £15 million turnover and has ambitious plans to double the size of the company over the next 3 years.
Role Overview
The Managing Director will have full responsibility for the commercial performance, operational excellence, and long-term growth of the UK business. The role requires a highly commercial (sales led) leader who can accelerate profitable growth, strengthen customer relationships (in particular within its retail and hospitality clients), drive operational improvements, and build a high-performing organization.

Candidate Profile
The company requires a candidate with significant P&L, sales, and people leadership experience who has demonstrated a track record of delivering profitable growth and business transformation. Experience of successfully working with high profile retail customers or within the retail industry will be mandatory. Candidates with an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset will relish the autonomous nature of the role, whilst being part of a wider international corporate organization.
