Manufacturer - IOT Connected, Products & Systems

c. £110,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits

The Role

You will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of the business, leading all core functions including technical, manufacturing, commercial, marketing, finance, service, and supply chain. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational rigour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a bold, long-term growth strategy
  • Drive commercial performance across UK markets
  • Build and mentor a high-performing executive leadership team
  • Manage financial planning, reporting, and governance
  • Champion innovation across product development and brand strategy
  • Represent the business externally with key partners, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a commercially astute, strategically minded Managing Director, with a strong track record of growing a technical products manufacturer. You will be entrepreneurial, results-driven, and capable of leading a business through rapid growth and transformation.

Essential Experience: ✔ Executive-level P&L leadership of a technical products business.
✔ Proven success in scaling operations and driving profitability
✔ Strong operational understanding, especially in technical, commercial, marketing and supply chain
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
✔ Passion for innovation, sustainability, and customer experience
