About the Role
Global Eco Energy Solutions Ltd is part of GHC Group, a long-standing renewable energy business based in Scotland.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Managing Director to take ownership of our Sales and Marketing functions and drive a culture of accountability, structure, and performance across the business.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and shareholders, this is a highly visible leadership role for someone who is confident setting standards, developing people, and ensuring that agreed targets and processes are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall ownership of the Sales and Marketing functions.
- Ensure clear daily accountability across Sales and Marketing, with consistent performance tracking.
- Provide accurate management information twice weekly, alongside a comprehensive monthly report to the Board and shareholders.
- Establish and maintain structured performance management across the team.
- Train, coach, and develop team members into accountable, high-performing individuals.
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and marketing objectives in line with business growth plans.
- Identify performance gaps and implement effective corrective action.
- Build and maintain robust processes, CRM discipline, and adherence to SOPs.
- Act as a key point of accountability to the Board for commercial performance.
- Lead by example, creating a culture where ownership, high standards, and results are expected.

What we are looking for
We're looking for someone with:
- A proven track record in a senior Sales and/or Marketing leadership role, ideally at Director or Managing Director level.
- A strong and confident leadership style, with the ability to establish structure, accountability, and high standards.
- Demonstrable experience training and developing individuals into accountable, target-driven performers.
- Excellent reporting and management information skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The confidence to operate with direct and regular accountability to a Board of Directors and shareholders.
- Experience in renewable energy, construction, or the home improvement sector is advantageous but not essential.
- A resilient, commercially focused, and results-driven approach.
- The ability to hold others to a high standard while building a motivated and high-performing team.
