The Client
We are partnering with a highly successful international business to appoint a Managing Director for its UK operation. This is a significant leadership opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded executive with a proven track record of leading operationally complex businesses. With full P&L responsibility, you will be tasked with building on an established market position, delivering sustainable growth and creating the strategic roadmap for the next phase of development.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy aligned to group objectives.
- Hold full P&L accountability for the UK business.
- Drive profitable revenue growth through strong commercial leadership.
- Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team and wider organisation.
- Strengthen operational performance, supply chain effectiveness and business efficiency.
- Build and maintain strategic customer, supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Identify investment priorities and support long-term business planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.

The Person

You will be an accomplished Managing Director, General Manager or Business Unit Leader with:
- Demonstrable experience leading businesses of comparable scale with full P&L ownership - £40m - £80m.
- A proven track record of delivering growth and commercial transformation ideally within a production led business.
- Strong operational and supply chain leadership capability.
- The ability to create and execute clear strategic plans within multi channel routes to market.
- Experience developing leadership teams and driving organisational performance.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across customers, suppliers, shareholders and boards.
- A resilient, pragmatic and hands-on leadership style.
- The credibility to operate effectively within an international business environment.
