We are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Managing Director

To provide strategic and operational leadership across the business, with full accountability for P&L performance, sustainable growth and the continued development of a high-performing leadership team.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Wescom Group Operations Director, the Managing Director will lead sMRT both strategically and tactically, with a clear focus on business growth, operational excellence, engineering capability and organisational development.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Full accountability for the financial and operational performance of the business.
• Developing and executing the business strategy to deliver sustainable growth.
• Leading engineering, manufacturing and technical functions.
• Driving Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence.
• Developing high-performing teams and strengthening organisational capability.
• Building strong customer, supplier and strategic partner relationships.
• Ensuring the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental performance.
• Identifying opportunities for growth through new technologies, product development and manufacturing investment.
