Managing Editor, Asia-Pacific Investors

The team

Growing Asia-Pacific coverage is a strategic priority for With Intelligence and the successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing our investor intelligence editorial coverage across the region.

Leading a team of knowledgeable reporters, you will shape and execute our editorial vision for Asia-Pacific investors, ensuring we deliver differentiated, proprietary and actionable intelligence that helps subscribers identify opportunities, understand market dynamics and make better-informed business decisions.

Coverage spans the full spectrum of institutional and private wealth investors, including sovereign wealth funds, public and corporate pension schemes, endowments, foundations, family offices, OCIOs, wealth managers and fund-of-funds, with a particular focus on alternative investments including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate and hedge funds.

As the senior editorial lead for investor coverage in Asia-Pacific, you will be responsible for executing and shaping our regional coverage strategy within a broader global content framework, ensuring our reporting reflects the unique characteristics, opportunities and trends of the Asia-Pacific market.

You and your team will also serve as With Intelligence’s leading experts on investor activity in the region, contributing to events, thought leadership, research initiatives and broader intelligence efforts that strengthen our understanding of the market and the value we deliver to clients.

What’s in it for you

  • Lead and shape a strategically important area of the business with significant visibility among senior leadership.
  • Build and develop a high-performing editorial team focused on delivering market-leading investor intelligence across Asia-Pacific.
  • Develop relationships with some of the region’s most influential allocators, including sovereign wealth funds, pension schemes, family offices, wealth platforms and other major institutional investors.
  • Establish yourself as a recognised authority on investor activity and capital allocation trends across Asia-Pacific.
  • Represent With Intelligence at major industry events through speaking engagements, panel moderation, media interviews, reports and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Work closely with experienced colleagues across Editorial, Data, Insights and Events as we continue to expand our presence and capabilities in the region.
  • Collaborate with an experienced global editorial team covering the asset management industry across all major regions and asset classes.

Responsibilities and impact:

Editorial Leadership and Content Strategy

  • Lead Asia-Pacific investor coverage, ensuring alignment with With Intelligence’s global content strategy while adapting priorities to reflect regional market dynamics and subscriber needs.
  • Execute a defined content plan agreed with the Editor-in-Chief and senior editorial leadership, helping to refine and evolve that strategy through regional market insight and subscriber feedback.
  • Ensure coverage delivers proprietary, forward-looking and actionable intelligence on investor activity, capital allocation trends and manager selection across the region.
  • Continuously assess coverage priorities, identifying emerging themes, institutions and market developments that will provide value to subscribers.
  • Maintain the highest editorial standards across all published content.

Team Leadership and Editorial Excellence

  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of reporters, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, accountability and journalistic excellence.
  • Establish and reinforce best practices for sourcing, reporting and content development.
  • Provide editorial oversight, coaching and feedback while remaining an active contributor to coverage.
  • Support the growth of the regional editorial team and help build a sustainable pipeline of talent and expertise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
