It's an exciting opportunity to shape our editorial strategy and drive digital search performance.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Head of SEO, you'll guide the editorial strategy for our travel insurance and personal finance verticals. You'll produce original, user-focused content that builds consumer trust and satisfies search intent. Daily, you'll use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), SEO tools, Slack, Google Workspace, and our CMS platforms to manage content.

  • Write and edit clear, high-quality travel insurance and personal finance content
  • Refresh existing guides in line with SEO briefs to capture emerging search formats
  • Ensure all published copy strictly adheres to FCA compliance and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor market shifts and news to develop responsive editorial coverage
  • Work alongside SEO, design, and commercial teams to deliver user-centric content plans
  • Partner with digital PR, PR, and third-party stakeholders to elevate brand visibility, supporting off-page SEO and outreach campaigns with highly linkable, authoritative editorial assets
  • Protect and evolve the Go.Compare tone of voice while working in lockstep with the compliance team to ensure strict, uncompromising adherence to FCA guidelines and YMYL content standards

What You'll Bring

  • Editorial experience in travel insurance, personal finance, or regulated financial services
  • Understanding of modern SEO principles, content structuring, and search discovery tools
  • Working knowledge of FCA compliance guidelines within consumer-facing content
  • Ability to interpret raw data and industry research to create compelling content
  • Strong communication skills to manage cross-functional partner relationships
  • Experience using CMS platforms, GA4, Google Workspace, and Slack

The expected range for this role is £32,000 - £40,000.

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our Cardiff or Bath Office.
