Job description
About the Position:
- Meeting with potential new investors to communicate the company’s progress and encourage further investment.
- Investment Syndication – Structure and lead investment deals with external stakeholders, including identifying and coordinating with angel investor groups, investment funds, and corporate strategic partners.
- Investment Due Diligence – Assess company-provided and other information to evaluate the business proposition. Conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate product, technology, and financial plans.
- Providing advice and guidance to the founders of the company to ensure that they are making good business decisions.
- Catching possible problems early so that they can be addressed before they cause serious issues for the company.
- Communicating with existing investors to ensure that they are satisfied with the progress of the company.
- Negotiating deals with potential partners, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders who may be interested in working with the company.
- Communicating regularly with other venture partners at other firms to share information about opportunities in different industries or regions.
- Providing advice to the company on how to improve its financial performance by increasing sales, cutting costs, and generating new revenue streams.
