Managing Principal – Finance Transformation

The Role
Capco is seeking an experienced Managing Principal to lead our Finance Transformation capability within the FRRF practice. You will work with CFOs, Treasurers, and senior finance leaders across Tier 1 institutions to deliver large-scale transformation programmes that enhance the value of finance and treasury functions. This leadership role combines strategic oversight, client relationship management, and business development, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative finance solutions that drive measurable impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end finance transformation programmes spanning finance IT, operating model design, and process optimisation
- Shape strategic initiatives for CFOs and executive stakeholders, improving controls, efficiency, and financial insight (e.g. ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP)
- Oversee regulatory transformation programmes (e.g. Basel, IFRS, PRA), ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness
- Partner with technology and data teams to embed automation, cloud, and digital capabilities into finance functions
- Drive business growth through client development, leadership of delivery teams, and thought leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership in delivering complex finance transformation initiatives within consulting or financial services
- Deep understanding of finance operating models, controls, accounting processes, and regulatory change
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in business development and client relationship management
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and support collaborative, high-performing environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at executive level

Bonus Points For
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience leading regulatory change initiatives (Basel, IFRS, PRA, Solvency II, EBA)
- Expertise in digital and automation tools (RPA, Gen AI, cloud) for finance transformation
- Background in consulting with experience supporting growth and capability development
- Strong project governance, risk management, and client delivery experience
