We are currently seeking a highly skilled Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our project team for the North Hykeham Relief Road. Given the significance of this development, we are prioritizing an expedited hiring process to welcome the right talent to our team as soon as possible.
Your Impact

In this pivotal role, you will take full responsibility for managing all costs and income for this major 8km dual carriageway development, including the construction of five significant structures, most notably the 100m span bridge across the River Witham. You will lead a high-performing commercial team, acting as a mentor to colleagues while driving value for money and ensuring the highest standards of project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Provide expert oversight on commercial management, risk analysis, and supply chain procurement.
- Lead the preparation of pricing documents, activity schedules, and bills of quantities.
- Mentor junior commercial staff, supporting their professional qualification journeys.
- Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Review project progress against programs and manage complex tender negotiations.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Chartered Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards).
- Valid CSCS Card (Professionally Qualified Person).
- Proven track record of managing commercial teams on complex construction projects.
What We Offer
- We provide a competitive day rate of GBP630 for a 40-hour work week.
- This site-based contract is for an initial 6-month period with the potential for extension or transition to permanent employment.
