Our client, an established Main Contractor, is looking to onboard a Managing Surveyor to provide commercial leadership on a varied portfolio of construction projects across London and the South East. They offer a real breadth of work across a number of sectors and an excellent track record of delivery.
Reporting to the Commercial Director and working closely with the operational teams, this role will oversee project performance and support the wider surveying team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercial oversight across multiple live projects.
- Manage and develop Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
- Review budgets, cost reports, forecasts and cash flow.
- Oversee subcontract procurement and account management.
- Monitor commercial risk, variations and contractual notices.
- Lead commercial reviews and final account negotiations.

Main contracting experience is a prerequisite and a breadth of sector exposure will be well received spanning the likes of commercial, education, leisure and residential.
