Airline Reservations Agent

Airline Reservations and Ticketing Agent – Mandarin Speaking

Location: London

Salary: £29,000 + benefits

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Position Type: Office based

An expanding airline based in central London is looking for an experienced Airline Reservations Agent to join their team.

As an Airline Reservations and Ticketing Agent, you will:

  • Take reservation calls from direct passengers and trade partners
  • Make airline bookings, changes, and ancillary bookings
  • Issue and reissue tickets and EMDs, including manual fare builds
  • Deal with ticket reissues, upgrades, reroutes, and lost tickets
  • Process ticket invoices and payments
  • Complete daily and monthly airline sales reports and reconciliations
  • Provide excellent customer service by telephone and face-to-face
  • Manage group bookings and tour operator allocations
  • Issue contractual terms and conditions in line with individual airline requirements
  • Liaise with local airline management and head office
  • Ensure all bookings and transactions comply with airline and company procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a travel reservations and ticketing role
  • Strong Amadeus reservations, fares, and e-ticketing experience
  • Experience with other GDS systems will also be considered
  • Fluent Mandarin and English
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Good team-working skills

  • Salary around £29,000
  • Monday to Friday, 5 days per week office based
