This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced airline reservations professional with strong Amadeus, fares and e-ticketing knowledge to join a friendly, multicultural team in the heart of the City. I’m currently working with a leading international aviation services company that is looking to appoint a Mandarin-speaking Reservations & Ticketing Agent to support one of its major airline clients in London.
Job Title: Mandarin-speaking Reservations & Ticketing Agent
Location: Liverpool Street/Moorgate, London
Work Style: Full-time, office-based
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: up to ￡29,000 + benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Handle reservation enquiries from passengers and travel trade partners
- Create and amend airline bookings, including ancillaries and seat requests
- Issue and reissue tickets and EMDs using Amadeus
- Manage fare calculations, including automatic and manual fare builds
- Process payments, invoices, refunds, upgrades and rerouting requests
- Support group bookings and tour operator allocations
- Prepare daily and monthly sales reports and reconciliations
- Liaise with the airline’s local management team and Head Office
- Deliver excellent customer service by telephone, email and face-to-face

Requirement
- Fluent Mandarin, including speaking, reading and writing
- Good written and spoken English
- At least two years’ experience in airline reservations and ticketing
- Strong experience using Amadeus
- Good knowledge of airline fares and e-ticketing
- Confident handling ticket changes, reissues and customer enquiries
- Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Professional, organised and able to work effectively under pressure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
