About Us

Kägwerks, a Codan company, develops advanced tactical communications and networking technology for defence, government and national security customers. We specialise in mobile ad hoc networking (MANET), edge computing and integrated C5ISR solutions designed to operate in disconnected, degraded, intermittent and bandwidth-limited environments.

Kägwerks is growing rapidly within the MANET market, creating opportunities to work on a wide variety of specialist projects with military teams, government customers and technology partners.

About The Role

The Field Service Representative (FSR) is a key member of the Kägwerks Rest of World organisation and is responsible for providing highly capable technical, operational, and customer-facing support for the deployment, integration, demonstration, and sustainment of advanced Kägwerks systems.

The role requires a strong understanding of tactical communications, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), IP networking, edge computing, and AI/ML-enabled technologies. Working directly with military, government, and specialist end users, the FSR will support systems throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial capability demonstrations and trials through to deployment, training, operational support, and ongoing system optimisation.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating independently in challenging and potentially austere environments and will be capable of translating complex technical capabilities into practical operational solutions.

You Will

  • Integrate tactical radios, Software Defined Radios (SDRs), edge compute platforms, sensors, applications, and other C5ISR components.
  • Support the integration and deployment of AI/ML-enabled products operating at the tactical edge.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations, customer evaluations, field trials, and Proof of Concept activities.
  • Deliver operator and technical training to military, government, partner, and reseller personnel.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system integration issues in field environments.
  • Conduct network planning, system configuration, fault finding, and performance optimisation.
  • Support tactical data distribution across RF and IP networks.
  • Work closely with Systems Engineering and Product teams to identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues.
  • Capture end-user feedback and translate operational requirements into practical technical recommendations.
  • Produce technical reports, configuration documentation, test reports, and After-Action Reviews (AARs).
  • Provide technical support to Business Development and Sales teams during customer engagements, exhibitions, demonstrations, and trials.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of company products, competitor capabilities, and emerging C5ISR technologies.
  • Provide deployed technical support internationally as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
