Project Overview
In addition to earlier interior alterations at the Manitoba Law Courts, this project involved exterior plaza redevelopment, a new vestibule, and an expanded interior program to further improve facility accessibility. The design of the addition took cues from the geometry of the existing building and extended the use of the original limestone, red oak, and glass material palette. The new program included an expanded area for public cueing and security screening, a centralized sheriffs’ kiosk, and related security room.
The project involved a high degree of technical complexity, with modifications that required integration of new and existing structural framing systems, detailing, and waterproofing of the new exterior plaza atop an existing below-grade parking structure and the implementation of design strategies to achieve adequate security in a high-traffic public safety environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
