Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manual Test Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and enterprise applications through comprehensive manual testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide early feedback on testability.
- Validate APIs and backend services using tools such as Postman.
- Prepare test metrics, status reports, and test completion reports.
- Support production deployments and perform post-release validation.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Experience in Functional, Regression, System, Integration, and UAT testing.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Quality Center.
- Excellent test case design and execution skills.
- Experience testing web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Good understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, or E-commerce domains.
- Exposure to SQL/database testing.
- Basic understanding of test automation concepts.
- ISTQB Certification is a plus.
