Summary: Sparta Global are hiring an experienced Manual Tester on a fully-remote 6 Month FTC to support the testing and quality assurance of systems and applications within a legal environment.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on manual testing experience and, crucially, previous experience working within the legal sector, ideally within a law firm or legal services organisation. Candidates must be comfortable working with legal processes, systems, and sensitive legal data.
Experience working with Sharedo would be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out manual functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and expected system behaviour.
- Validate system changes against business and user requirements.
- Test workflows and processes involving legal and case-related data.
- Support defect triage, retesting, and regression testing following fixes.
- Maintain clear and accurate testing documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and overall system quality.

Experience Required:
- Extensive commercial experience working as a Manual Tester or Test Analyst.
- Previous experience working within the legal sector, ideally within a law firm.
- Experience working with legal, case management, or other law-related data.
- Strong understanding of manual testing principles and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience creating and executing test cases and documenting defects.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Confident working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ideally have experience working with Sharedo.
