About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester to join our team and support the testing of embedded medical device software. The role will focus on executing manual functional and regression testing, identifying and managing defects, maintaining accurate test documentation, and supporting software release activities.

You will work closely with senior test leads and customer teams in an onsite environment, following defined testing, quality, and documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review application requirements, specifications, and release scope to understand testing objectives.
- Set up, configure, and validate Windows-based test environments in accordance with customer instructions.
- Execute manual functional, regression, and retesting activities using defined test cases and procedures.
- Record test results accurately and maintain complete test execution evidence.
- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects through to closure.
- Collaborate closely with customer teams, test leads, developers, and other stakeholders throughout testing cycles.
- Provide regular updates on test execution progress, defect status, risks, and issues.
- Support defect triage, root-cause discussions, and retesting activities as required.
- Support release readiness, test completion, and test closure activities.
- Follow established testing methodologies, quality procedures, and customer-specific processes.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready test documentation and records.
- Support internal and customer reviews, quality assessments, and audits when required.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
- Strong experience in functional and regression testing.
- Good understanding of software testing lifecycle and test execution processes.
- Experience with test case execution, defect logging, tracking, retesting, and closure.
- Experience testing Windows-based applications or software environments.
- Familiarity with defect/test management tools such as Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
- Ability to work effectively with customer-facing teams and follow defined processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing medical device or healthcare software.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Exposure to software validation and verification (V&V) processes.
- Familiarity with medical device software quality processes and documentation.
- Experience working with standards or frameworks applicable to regulated software environments is an advantage.
- Previous experience working directly with customer or client teams.
