Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Assistant

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £30,420 Per Annum

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

(m/f/d)

The Manufacturing Assistant Role:

Assist in the assembly and manufacturing of components for electrical switchgear systems, specifically:

  • Control plate assembly
  • Trunking & DIN rail cutting
  • Cable preparation & assembly
  • CNC engraving machine & label printing
  • Goods in inspection
  • Export packing of switchgear panels

What You’ll Need to Join Us as a Manufacturing Assistant:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing is essential for this role.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools is necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical components and assembly processes is a plus, but not essential—what matters most is your enthusiasm and willingness to grow.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills is a must.
  • Demonstrate initiative and precision, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Utilise critical thinking skills to tackle challenges head-on and uncover solutions that keep us moving forward.
  • Embrace teamwork, recognising that our collective success relies upon each individual's contribution.
