What’s Involved?
Throughout the 2-year scheme, you’ll enjoy different placements across the business and help drive efficiencies and commercial profitability with our growers and suppliers in a fast-paced environment. It’s about working together to gain the best outcome for our customers. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:
- Sourcing raw products to ensure we’re getting the best quality products for the best prices
- Interacting with our farmers and growers and planning with our sites to deliver great quality food to our stores and external customers

Our structured training and the chance to work on exciting projects means there are plenty of opportunities to progress and learn while with us. You’ll join other Buying Graduates in training and development sessions, such as negotiation training. By the end of the programme, you will have the experience and skills needed to progress into the role of a buyer in either Meat or Fruit and Veg.

What You’ll Need to Join Us
We are food makers and shop keepers, and together, we make Morrisons. We’re looking for graduates who have a real passion for food, its quality and safety, a drive to succeed and can lead and influence those around them. You need to be a great communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse team of people. Candidates also need a minimum 2:1 in any degree subject (with a passion for agriculture being a great bonus) plus a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
