Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Engineer
A globally successful leader of high-speed electronics within the military/aerospace market are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. These bespoke products are used in hundreds of mission-critical applications, where the performance and reliability delivered can be a matter of life and death.
Location
Based in Northamptonshire, it is commutable from Northampton, Milton Keynes, Banbury, Rugby, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Kettering, and Bedford.
Role Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer in Northamptonshire will ensure all products can be manufactured in a quality-assured, reliable, scalable, and repeatable manner. Other responsibilities will include:

- Performing analysis of manufacturing defects, process failures to determine root cause and develop corrective actions
- Conducting DFMEA / PFMEA reviews with respect to new and existing products
- Acting as the interface between the Engineering and Manufacturing functions to develop and introduce new, or enhance existing manufacturing solutions/ processes
- Attending NPI and design reviews
- Providing product and manufacture development recommendations for new, existing, and emerging products and technologies

Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Manufacturing Engineer role in Northamptonshire will have:
- Working knowledge of Surface Mount Assembly
- A good level of understanding of IPC-A-610
- A passion to succeed
- An agile mindset
- Willingness to propose and experiment with new ideas
