Your New Company A well-established and highly successful manufacturing organisation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment where continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development are at the heart of the business.

Your New Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting the introduction of new products and technologies across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to drive productivity and quality improvements.
  • Support the introduction of new products from design through to production.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Carry out process capability studies and production line optimisation.
  • Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams.
  • Support capital equipment projects and process improvements.
  • Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Degree or HND in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting production processes and implementing improvements.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.

Working Hours:

  • Mon - Thurs 7am - 5pm and Fri 2pm
