Manufacturing Engineer - CADCAM
Contract - 6 months
Immediate start
Outside IR35
The role combines digital process development, structured verification, and on-shift technical support to ensure stable, production-ready manufacturing solutions are delivered to a consistently high standard.
You will take ownership of multi-tasking mill-turn machining processes from concept through to stable production release, ensuring robust, verified, and production-ready manufacturing solutions are implemented to a consistently high technical standard. The role is expected to uphold and reinforce strong technical discipline within the machining function.

- Day to day programming of components
- Write out production plans
- Prove out more complicated programs with operators
Requirements
- Extensive experience programming in SolidCAM (other CAM packages considered)
- Vericut experience
- Fanuc and Mazatrol experience
- All programs run through ISO code

Machines used:
- Mazak Integrex's, Mazak Variaxis
- Predominantly 3+2 machines but also a 5 axis
- Would also be required to write programs for older machines including 2 axis lathes, horizontals, Pumas, Doosans, and Matsuuras
Shifts
Week 1 –
- Monday – Thursday, 6am – 2pm
- Friday is 6am – 11:30am
Week 2 –
- Monday - Thursday 1pm – 9pm
- Friday hours are 11:30 – 5pm
