Manufacturing Engineer

In2tec Ltd
Location: Kettering, UK - Office based
Package: £35,000 DPE
Reports to: Head of Design and Research

In2tec Ltd is an innovative UK-HQ electronics manufacturer, specialising in advanced technologies including Flexi-hibrid™, and ReUSE® and ReCYCLE®. We work with leading customers across niche automotive, industrial, defence, aerospace, medical, and high-reliability markets.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. Working alongside electronics, mechanical and firmware engineers, you will play a key role in translating innovative product designs into robust, efficient and scalable manufacturing processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys bridging the gap between product development and production, ensuring all products are designed and introduced into manufacture efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and control.

The role will involve close collaboration with the Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, suppliers and the wider engineering team to support New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing documentation, process development, risk management and product lifecycle control. The role aligns with established company engineering and quality operating procedures, including DFMEA and PFMEA and control planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Introduction & Manufacturing

  • Support the transition of new products from development into mainstream manufacture.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to develop and implement NPI processes, manufacturing methods and process controls.
  • Aid supplier selection, production readiness and process validation activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency and cost reduction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
