Manufacturing Engineer – NPI
📍 Hook | 💰 Up to £65,000 | Hybrid Working
Are you a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys turning innovative electronic products into reliable, scalable production builds?
We’re working with a growing engineering business developing advanced electronic systems, and they’re looking for someone who can bridge the gap between design and manufacturing, helping prototype and low-volume products move smoothly into production. This role would suit someone with strong electronics manufacturing experience who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys solving practical production challenges.
The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with engineering and production teams to support new product introduction (NPI), improve manufacturability, and help establish robust production processes for complex electronic products. The position offers genuine scope to grow into a more dedicated NPI leadership role over time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
