A leading manufacturer of specialist mobile equipment is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its growing engineering and production team in County Tyrone. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative business that designs and manufactures bespoke heavy engineering equipment for customers across global markets.
Working closely with design, production, fabrication, assembly, and supply chain teams, you will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introduction, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Your New Role
As Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the transition of new products from design through to production while ensuring manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and deliver the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and improving manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Supporting new product introduction and production readiness activities.
- Working alongside Design Engineers to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacture and assembly.
- Providing technical support to production and assembly teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation including work instructions, BOMs, and process sheets.
- Leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions for manufacturing and quality issues.
- Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.
- Supporting the introduction of tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production aids.
- Working with suppliers and purchasing teams to resolve component and quality concerns.
- Assisting with production planning, factory improvement projects, and inventory management activities.
- Driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Degree, HND, or HNC in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a manufacturing, production, or mechanical engineering environment.
- Practical knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Ability to create and modify SolidWorks parts, assemblies, and drawings.
- Experience working with engineering drawings, Bills of Materials, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience using root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
