Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors and operatives.
• Participate in new projects, prototype builds, providing DFA/DFM input to new and existing product design, crating project documentation, such as process flow, layout and industrialization plan.
• Designing and making new equipment, tools, fixtures, integrating them into production line, and improving existing ones.
• Creating and maintaining PFMEAs, work instructions and other production related documentation.
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
• Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.
• Creates and manages plans to keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
• Maintain product and process database and reporting accordingly.
• Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
• Investigation and problem solving of production issues and making improvements to current operations to enhance efficiency.
• Support and adhere to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
