Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from initial concept through to production.
• Develop manufacturing methods, process plans, routings, and supporting documentation.
• Work closely with Production and Shop Floor teams to ensure new products are introduced effectively.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to establish suitable manufacturing methods.
• Provide manufacturing input into engineering designs, ensuring products are practical and cost-effective to manufacture.
• Prepare manufacturing estimates, labor calculations, and tooling requirements to support customer quotations and RFQs.
• Investigate production issues and implement effective root-cause and corrective-action solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, minimize costs, and improve Right First-Time performance.
• Support the introduction of new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and processes.
• Work closely with Quality to ensure manufacturing processes meet aerospace quality and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support to Production and resolve day-to-day manufacturing challenges.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation and ensure processes remain compliant with company and customer requirements.
