Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager based in Lomondgate (Dumbarton)
You’ll lead and energise the Manufacturing Engineering function to design and implement safe, efficient and repeatable manufacturing processes that drive Operational Excellence improving cost, quality and delivery through continuous process improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do as ME Manager:
- Lead and energise the Manufacturing Engineering function to design and implement safe, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing processes that drive Operational Excellence.
- Own end-to-end build cell and shopfloor layout design, including the controlled specification, implementation, and handover of bespoke and standard tooling.
- Align and resource the Manufacturing Engineering team to provide robust, day-to-day support to Production; work closely with Production, NPI, and Quality to remove constraints, resolve quality issues, and embed corrective actions.
- Ensure all production documentation (work instructions, assembly drawings, schematics, checklists, inspection cards) is available and current, and establish performance measurement and reporting.
- Manage departmental budgets, recruitment, training, and personnel matters to build a high-performing, “can-do” team.

You are:
- An inspirational people leader who "sells" a clear vision, leads from the front, and motivates teams to deliver stretch objectives.
- A proven production/manufacturing manager with a results-driven track record of meeting tight timescales while maintaining engineering and quality standards.
- Commercially astute with excellent customer-facing skills, able to represent the Manufacturing Engineering function and align engineering activity with business priorities.
- A strong team builder, skilled at selecting, coaching, and performance-managing individuals to create a flexible, high-performing, improvement-focused culture.
- A continuous improvement expert with Six Sigma experience in process analysis and improvements, strong planning and organisation, and the ability to quickly identify and resolve critical issues.
