A well-established food manufacturer in the Wolverhampton area is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance and engineering function on a busy production site.
The role
- Lead and develop the site engineering and maintenance team
- Own planned maintenance and drive down unplanned downtime
- Manage the engineering budget and supplier relationships
- Deliver improvement and capital projects across the site
- Keep the site compliant with food safety, health and safety, and audit standards
- Work closely with Production and Technical to improve line performance

About you
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background, with a relevant qualification
- Experience managing an engineering team in food, drink, or FMCG manufacturing
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Track record of improving reliability and equipment performance
- Strong on health and safety and food manufacturing standards
