Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and support the development of manufacturing processes across our aerospace operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop manufacturing methods and processes.
- Design and develop work-holding solutions, including technical drawings.
- Simulate CNC programmes using Vericut software.
- Provide shop floor support during new process and product prove-outs.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Produce technical production documentation, including SOPs, tooling sheets, and inspection sheets.
- Provide technical support and expertise to the production team.
- Apply knowledge of special processes, heat treatments, and coatings.
- Support measurement and inspection activities using appropriate methods and techniques.
- Provide technical support to project and commercial teams.
- Promote effective communication across all areas of the business.
- Identify and report risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support business objectives.

About You
- Manufacturing Engineering degree or apprentice-trained equivalent.
- Experience within a Manufacturing Engineering role.
- Experience of CNC programming and Vericut simulation.
- CAD/CAM experience.
- Aerospace or defence industry experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach.
