Manufacturing Expeditor | Gloucester | Shift Allowance Included
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Expeditor, Production Controller, Planner, Scheduler or Supply Chain professional looking for your next challenge?
Akkodis is supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing programme in Gloucester and is seeking proactive individuals to help drive the delivery of critical manufacturing orders through complex production environments.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing high-priority manufacturing orders from release through to completion
- Tracking progress across production, quality, logistics and supplier networks
- Identifying bottlenecks and driving recovery plans to maintain delivery schedules
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve issues quickly
- Providing real-time updates, reporting and escalation management through ERP/MRP systems (SAP desirable)

What we're looking for:
- Experience in manufacturing, production planning, production control, supply chain or logistics
- Previous order expediting or material flow experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within aerospace, defence, automotive or other regulated industries is advantageous
Shift Options:
Bridging Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 16:00 - 21:45
- Friday: 12:30 - 00:00
Night Shift
- Monday to Wednesday: 21:45 - 07:30
- Thursday: 21:45 - 06:50 (Shift allowance included)
