Position: Manufacturing Manager

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client, a bespoke precision manufacturer who I’m partnering with exclusively, are on the hunt for a Manufacturing Manager to join the team.

Role and Responsibilities – Manufacturing Manager

This role is brand new within the business due to growth. You will be responsible for developing, improving, and controlling the manufacturing processes used throughout the business. Other responsibilities include:

  • Drive Lean manufacturing principles, standardise production methods, and improve documentation
  • Reduce waste and lead process improvements to support business growth
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
  • Analyse manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput

Experience or Qualifications – Manufacturing Manager

  • Proven experience within manufacturing or precision engineering environment leading and improving teams
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing manufacturing processes for machined mechanical assemblies
  • Experience creating work instructions, SOPs, manufacturing routings, BOM structures, and manufacturing instructions
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, including value stream mapping, Standard work, and waste elimination
