Type: Freelance Hourly Contract

About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technical Operations professionals interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects involving industrial operations, engineering processes, manufacturing systems, and technical decision-making.
The role focuses on evaluating AI-generated work products, including technical documents, operational reports, engineering analyses, spreadsheets, presentations, and manufacturing recommendations while applying professional judgment to assess accuracy, quality, and technical rigor.
You'll leverage your expertise in engineering operations, manufacturing processes, production systems, quality management, and technical problem-solving to help improve the capabilities of next-generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated engineering reports, manufacturing analyses, operational documentation, spreadsheets, and presentations for accuracy and quality.
- Assess outputs using domain-specific evaluation criteria and industry best practices.
- Identify technical inaccuracies, process gaps, operational inefficiencies, and presentation issues.
- Review engineering recommendations, manufacturing workflows, production strategies, and technical operations plans.
- Provide detailed written feedback and scoring based on established evaluation guidelines.
- Assess the quality of technical communication, analytical reasoning, and operational decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality engineering and manufacturing evaluation benchmarks and training datasets.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Industrial Operations, Production Management, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Professional fluency in English with strong written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel, and technical reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, operational workflows, and quality standards.
- Ability to identify technical, analytical, and presentation-related issues in complex work products.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher from a reputable institution.
- Experience leading manufacturing operations, engineering projects, production systems, or technical transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, process optimization, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Experience creating executive presentations, technical reports, engineering documentation, or operational dashboards.
- Familiarity with AI-generated technical content and evaluation methodologies.
