Looking for a Motivated Manufacturing Operative – Kitting
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic production environment, helping manufacture and deliver high-quality paints and coatings to our customers.
Job Overview
This is a physically demanding role that involves regular manual handling, including lifting materials weighing up to 25kg multiple times throughout the working day.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for gathering, preparing, packaging, labeling, and issuing all the components, materials and documentation required for our paint manufacturing process.
- Follow detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) to assemble complete product kits, ensuring customers receive all components required to use our products safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for kitting components, intermediates, and packaging materials.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization within the work area.
- Support general production and warehouse activities as required.
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across the site.
- Work overtime and occasional weekends when required to support business demands during peak periods.
- Carry out quality control testing to ensure products meet specifications.
- Assisting management with product quality investigations and resolution of quality-related issues.
- Conducting paint approval and sign-off activities using a range of testing methods.

Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year's manufacturing experience.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Good attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- FLT (Fork Lift Truck) experience or certification. (Preferred)
