Manufacturing Operatives - Support (Part-Time - 15 hours per week)

Our client, a leading name within their industry, has an immediate requirement for Part-Time Manufacturing Operatives to join their team.

These opportunities are ideal for candidates seeking part-time daytime hours to fit around childcare, education, or other personal commitments.

Working Hours

  • Option 1:
    • Monday to Wednesday - 9:30am to 2:30pm
    • 15 hours per week
  • Option 2:
    • Wednesday to Friday - 9:30am to 2:30pm
    • 15 hours per week

You Will:

  • Work as part of the Springtown Manufacturing team within a wafer fabrication facility producing recording heads for data storage products.
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to support production targets. Perform machine tending activities and follow established production procedures.
  • Work within a team environment while contributing to quality, safety, and operational goals.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Adhere to cleanroom and wafer handling protocols.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and follow all relevant procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and undertake training as required.

About You:

  • You have excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
  • You possess good manual dexterity and are comfortable handling specialist tools and equipment.
  • You are comfortable being on your feet for long periods, with the role involving walking.
  • You have basic computer skills.
  • You are reliable, punctual, and work well as part of a team.
  • You have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
