About The Role
We have a vacancy for a Manufacturing Operator working 12-hour shifts following a 4-on/6-off shift pattern. Within the role you will be responsible for an area of the converting operation where you will form part of a team for that converting line. The team work together to create the final product accordingly to performance KPI's while always operating in a safe manner and ensuring quality of the highest standard.
What You Will Do
- You will be responsible for operating the machinery in your assigned area where you will execute all operational tasks with excellence and adhere to all documented procedures, while being responsible for keeping your area clean & well organised.
- You will have accountability for quality checks in your responsible area and you will follow a number of internal processes to ensure all product test criteria is met.
- Within the role you will record any tasks completed in the daily management system and execute any schedule maintenance activities set out by your team leader.

Who You Are
- You will have previous experience working within an FMCG manufacturing industry, preferably on a paper converting line.
- You will be comfortable working in a fast paced production setting and be proactive in using H&S practices in your day to day work.
- You will enjoy problem solving and trouble shooting issues to find the root cause and contribute to the achievement of performance targets.
- Communicating effectively will be important to you and you will be someone who likes to ensure their work is accurate by paying attention to detail.

With 170 employees, including 26 apprentices, Manchester Trafford Park site is an advocate for all things Manchester.
