Manufacturing Operator (DOT (Test)) – Temporary Contract Position
We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Operator (DOT (Test)) to join our team specialising in Manufacturing for our Engine Test department at Cummins in Daventry, UK.
Role Details

Contract Type: Temporary (up to 24 months, with potential for permanence based on performance and business needs)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Weekly rotational
- Morning shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Afternoon shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
- Friday: 3:00pm – 10:30pm

Core Responsibilities
The role involves the following tasks:
- Preparation of production engines for test, ranging from 38 to 78 litres
- Ensuring engines are ready for trim upon completion of testing
Key Duties
- Ensure quality standards meet the requirements of the business
- Follow stage process documentation
- Report on supervision of any problems within the work stage
- Liaise with supervision regarding all aspects affecting smooth operations
- Be flexible within DOT as required, dependent on volume and priority
- Complete all daily checks
