Manufacturing Technician I
Location: Cramlington
Position Type: Full-time (12-Month Contract)
Shift Pattern: Day shift (4 days on and 4 days off) rotation, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: GBP13.46 per hour + 20 shift allowance
Role Overview
Safely and efficiently produce single-use medical products within a cGMP-compliant cleanroom environment, working to a defined schedule to meet customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assembly drawings, and batch record sheets.
- Manually assemble critical components on the production line using manual, electronic, and pneumatic hand tools.
- Perform raw material setup and kitting.
- Inspect finished goods to ensure adherence to strict quality and customer specifications.
- Accurately record cGMP data within batch records.
- Maintain cleanroom 5S standards, safety practices, and correct PPE usage (including gowning).

Requirements And Qualifications
- Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment (cGMP experience preferred).
- Ability to use hand tools with precision and good manual dexterity.
- Basic mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and handle physical demands (lifting/carrying).
- Strong work ethic, punctual, adaptable, and able to work well in a team.
