Job Title: Manufacturing Technician: Night Shift (Cleanroom Assembly)
Location: Cramlington (Unit 9 Atley Way)
Pay Rate: GBP13.46 / hour + 30 Shift Allowance
Contract: 12-Month Contract (1 Position Available)
Shift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off Rotation (18:00 - 06:00, 12-hour NIGHT shifts)
Hours: 40.25 hours/week average
Suha here from Randstad. We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Manufacturing Technician to join a global healthcare manufacturing facility in Cramlington.
Working inside a cGMP-compliant cleanroom environment, you will play a key role in assembling, inspecting, and packaging single-use medical devices using hand tools and technical assembly drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble medical components inside a cleanroom following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly drawings.
- Use manual, electronic, and pneumatic hand tools to setup and kit raw materials on defined production lines.
- Perform continuous quality inspections on finished goods against strict specs.
- Accurately detail and record cGMP data within batch production records.
- Adhere to strict cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and 5S standards.

What We Are Looking For
- Night Shift Readiness: Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts (18:00 - 06:00) on a 4-on / 4-off pattern.
- Physical Capability: Able to stand for 12 hours and perform repetitive assembly, lifting, and carrying tasks.
- Practical Skills: Hands-on dexterity with hand tools, good eyesight, and basic maths skills.
- Experience: Manufacturing or assembly experience (cleanroom or cGMP knowledge highly desirable).
