About the Role
To work as a member of the Production team under the supervision of the Team Leader or Manager, carrying out manufacturing tasks in compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality standards.
The role is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and consistent manufacture of products, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and operational performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess risks and apply appropriate control measures.
- Prepare raw materials and components for production.
- Verify raw material approval and shelf-life status before use.
- Accurately weigh and dispense raw materials.
- Follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
- Complete production and quality records accurately.
- Load raw materials into production equipment.
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor processes and report any issues or deviations.
- Label, pack, and prepare finished products for dispatch.
- Store raw materials and finished goods correctly.
- Operate forklifts and lifting equipment where authorised.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Report production, quality, safety, or maintenance concerns.
- Comply with all EHS, quality, and site procedures.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
- Work flexibly to meet operational requirements.

Experience
Experience working with the following targets is desirable:
- Right First Time (RFT) Performance.
- On Time In Full (OTIF) Performance.
- Compliance with Safety, Environmental, and Quality Standards.
- Productivity and efficiency against production targets.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is advantageous but not essential.
- No specific qualifications are required; however, a nationally recognised manufacturing qualification (such as Level 1/2 Performing Manufacturing Operations or Level 2 Certificate in Manufacturing Practices) would be beneficial.
- Forklift Truck Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences are desirable. Where not already held, candidates will be expected to achieve these qualifications within a reasonable period, ideally within twelve months of commencement.
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience of working safely within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
- Ability to understand and complete production documentation accurately.
- Ability to work within prescribed routines, instructions, and accepted manufacturing practices.
