Job Description

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Basingstoke. You will support the production and packaging of microbiology products, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production and packaging processes according to defined procedures.
  • Complete batch records and production documentation accurately.
  • Use the correct materials and equipment to manufacture products.
  • Update inventory and production information in internal systems.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and support production targets.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
  • Report any issues, deviations, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Profile

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Comfortable using computers and recording data accurately.
  • Manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused.
  • Able to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting materials up to 25kg.
  • Interest in working within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Benefits

  • Full-time 12-month contract.
  • Rotating shifts:
    • 06:00 - 14:00
    • 14:00 - 22:00
  • Competitive salary of £13.46 per hour.
  • 20% shift allowance on top of the hourly rate.
