Manufacturing Technician II

An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Technician II to join a production team supporting the manufacture of innovative diagnostic products. Working in a regulated manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for completing production activities, managing materials, and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out manufacturing activities in line with production schedules and work instructions.
  • Manage inventory and ensure materials are available for assigned work.
  • Operate and maintain designated equipment, processes, or production areas.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and "right first time".
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and operational procedures.

Profile

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or laboratory environment.
  • Strong quality and compliance mindset in a fast-paced setting.
  • Good technical aptitude and confidence working with machinery or equipment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and perform under pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in a GMP or regulated environment is advantageous.

Offer

  • £13.53 per hour (£28,142 annual equivalent).
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Day shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.
  • Initial 6-month contract with immediate start available.
  • Opportunity to gain experience within a regulated manufacturing environment producing diagnostic products.
