Contract Manufacturing Planner | £300 - £350 per day Outside IR35 | 3-6 Month Contract | Onsite in Snetterton

We're partnering with an Advanced Manufacturing business seeking an experienced Contract Manufacturing Planner to support a period of operational transformation and business improvement.
Joining a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in production planning, MRP optimisation, inventory accuracy, and process improvement, helping to ensure materials and resources are aligned to production requirements.

- Manage production schedules and material plans.
- Optimise MRP outputs and planning parameters.
- Ensure material availability while controlling inventory levels.
- Support inventory accuracy, stock takes, and cycle counting activities.
- Investigate planning and ERP data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
- Drive planning, inventory, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Manufacturing Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain Planning.
- Strong understanding of MRP, production scheduling, and inventory management.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or similar environments.
- ERP experience such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or Epicor.
- Strong analytical, Excel, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to quickly identify issues and implement practical improvements.
