The Role

What You’ll Do At Elekta

To provide quality control and non-conformance management support for manufacturing operations, ensuring that products, materials and quality records comply with company procedures, regulatory requirements and quality management systems. The role is accountable for maintaining effective control of non-conforming materials, supporting production through timely quality activities, coordinating supplier returns, managing quality documentation and equipment records, and contributing to continuous improvement and audit compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring manufacturing quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Managing non-conforming materials and supplier returns.
  • Maintaining accurate quality documentation and traceability.
  • Supporting production through effective quality control processes.
  • Managing calibration, preventative maintenance and quality assets.
  • Contributing to audits, continuous improvement and compliance with the Business Management System. (IN)
  • Raise non-conformance reports in Master Control for production.
  • Register equipment in Indysoft and populate the database to control calibration equipment.
  • Identify areas of improvements within production and raise OFIs. (Opportunity for Improvements)

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience of an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to support production demand.
  • Quality Control experience, including knowledge of quality control tools and techniques.
  • PC literate, with a good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Working knowledge of Calibration systems and compliance to ISO 17025 standards.
  • Experience in equipment calibration.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and compliance to QMS13485 standards.
  • Experience in Electro/mechanical assembly and ability to read assembly drawings.
  • Experience or training in 5S manufacturing principles.
  • Participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
